We work with a number of artists - many of whom are starting out. It is important to know how your work can pay off. Once you have completed your involvement in music that is due for release, there are two easy things you can do to ensure you don't lose any money owing to you.
If you are are writer, and have written songs that are performed or broadcast, you are entitled to royalties. You should register your writing with APRA so that you do not miss out on royalties owed to you. They can talk you through this process.
If you are an performer or vocalist and have performed or sung songs that are performed or broadcast, you should register with NZ Recorded Music. Don't miss out on money owed to you.
